Whats next 

This is a portrait I shot of myself, am possibly procrastinating or not who knows! 

So, have you ever just felt the need to burst out and ask, "what's next" when you've had a bad day or bad week, guess we have all had that thought, but oh well i guess we will never know until we get there and cross the bridge. 

 

This is for a woman like me 

To all my sisters out there, of all races, cultures and ethnic groups, we are are strong and the things we have been through do not depict our glories, we are a species that has been made to feel inferior because of how we are wired and built.

 

but this is for all women, as women we might have been abused, let down, talked down, beat down, cornered for expressing ourselves, body shamed, we might have received zero appreciation from those who are supposed to be on our side and we might have gone through the most or almost possibly every horrific experience out there but we remain strong, and we become stronger, cause we always have been and will always be! but sorry we will no longer apologize for being born female!

We might look beat down right, but that is just the stage before we metamorphose 

So don't relax too much we're certainly unpredictable and when we bite back, it will be fatal. 

I would like to grow up to be like myself!

 This is a portrait of my brother where I asked him who he would like to be like, as in who he would love to one day group up to be like, and he simply said,"I would like to grow up being like myself because simply the life I've been given is unique so even if i try to be like a certain person, I will never be that person as he was made to be who he is and so was I". After that captured this shot. 

Maybe I want to grow up being myself as well. Haha I mean its easier isn't it? 

baby shark doo doo 

This is my darling niece Genesis and just like her name she's indeed the beginning of so much joy. As soon as I would arrive at the gate she'd be happy to see me even in days when I wouldn't bring anything along with me when I'd visit, and we all know that children love it when you bring along something. But one of the things that really stands out when i see her is that i never forget the days we'd have sleepless nights trying to make her fall asleep because she was just such an energetic baby. Then when the baby shark wave came along, and yes we were all crazy about it at home including her. w

We would sing that song until she fell asleep it wouldn't always work but it made the difference. 

She might no longer be two years old and gelable but she's still my "baby shark" baby haha. 

You will always be MY Golden Boy

This is to my nephew, your absence is felt. Just this September you left a hole in our family's hearts and everybody misses you, I miss you, you were always such a refreshing soul, thank you for placing smiles on the faces of everyone around you, you will never be forgotten, you are one that carries a special place in my heart. Losing you was never an easy cross to bear and it may never be, but this is for you my golden boy, rest with the angels, we will soon meet again. But until now Adios my angel!
